JOIN US FOR ESCAPE 2024! New Mexico Tech was founded in 1889, as New Mexico School of Mines and it's name changed in 1951, to New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology. The campus is located in the colorful and historic Rio Grande valley, New Mexico Tech has a beautifully-landscaped green campus and an adjacent 18-hole championship golf course.

There will be a Social Hour on Friday with Beverages!
Classes will be offered covering basic and advanced SAR skills, land navigation, CalTopo usage, management, helicopter operations, canine training, and medical skills. Two field certification exams and a ham radio license exam will be offered. Field certified SAR volunteers may satisfy the maintenance of certification requirement by taking courses at ESCAPE that have been approved by DPS. EMS Continuing Education Hours will also be available. Applicable courses will be indicated on the schedule.

- The dining hall at New Mexico Tech features all-you-can-eat pizza, Mexican food, salad bar, sandwich bar, pasta bar, stir-fry bar, made-to-order grill items, and dessert bar.

- Burger or Veggie Burgers and Dogs Assorted buns, lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, onions, condiments, house-made chips, and freshly baked cookies.
